USPS Proposes Rate Change on January 21, 2018
On October 16th, the USPS® filed a notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) to change the prices of some mail services to take effect on January 21st 2018. If approved, there will be a $.01 increase to First-class Mail forever stamps making them $.50 and a $.01 increase to post cards making them $.35.
Good News! Postage meter users will SAVE $.03 over stamp users.
This proposed rate change will increase the price of mailing services by about 1.9% and shipping services will average about a 3.9% increase. This filing does not include any price change for single-piece letters being mailed to international destinations or for additional ounces for letters.
